Advance Jamboree Tickets - Founders Federal Credit Union Kickoff Classic on Aug 18 at Lancaster Memorial Stadium. Tickets available at the Lancaster News office, 107 N. White St., and Buford High School. $4 advance; $5 at the gate. Triple-header football starts 7 p.m. with Buford High School vs Pageland, followed by Andrew Jackson HS vs Lewisville and Lancaster High School vs Indian Land. Competitive Swim Class registration now open at USC-L's Gregory Health & Wellness Center between 3:30 & 5 p.m. Open to boys & girls age 8 to 16. Class held Monday, Tuesday & Thurday, August 28 through September 21. Details, call 803.313.7102.

  • Lancaster area - July 17 - Aug 11, M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Springdale Rec Center.
  • Indian Land - July 24, 25, 27, 31; Aug 1, 3, 7, 8, & 10; 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Indian Land Rec Center.
  • Kershaw - Aug 1, 3, 9, & 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Andrew Jackson Rec Center.
  • Heath Springs - Aug 2 & 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Heath Springs Town Hall.
  • Buford - July 25, 27; Aug 3 & 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Buford Middle School Gym lobby.

Costs & Ages:

  • Football $45; ages 8 to 12
  • Soccer $45, ages 5 to 13
  • Cheerleading $20, ages 8 to 12
  • Volleyball $30, ages 8 to 14.
  • Parent or guardian must register. Birth certificate required. Age cutoff Nov 30.
